Experience the wonder and beauty of India’s traditional art forms through hands-on demonstrations and activities led by classically-trained Indian performers and artists.

During this event, enjoy an interactive demonstration of traditional kathak dance led by classically-trained kathak dancer Sheshadri Sinha, followed by a community sand art (rangoli) activity in celebration of Diwali!

Attendees will have the opportunity to try kathak dancing themselves and contribute to a community Diwali rangoli piece. No previous dance or art experience needed. We’ll show you what to do!
