Children’s Programs
We serve children in the Austin area by providing enriching afterschool programs free of charge to families with limited or no access to quality out-of-school time programs and opportunities.
Our programs provide safe and productive afterschool environments for young minds to thrive and develop critical lifeskills and support systems that will help them succeed in the future. Our initiative is to guide young minds to grow into successful, confident members of their communities through enriching, immersive arts programming and cultural experiences.
Why It Matters
Afterschool hours are a time of day when children are most at-risk for falling behind—academically as well as socially. Idleness, boredom, and lack of supervision leave young minds vulnerable to isolation and risky behaviors.
Studies show that children who are enrolled in high-quality afterschool programs perform better academically, develop positive social skills and support systems, and show increased interest and engagement in their own learning and personal development.
Our children’s programs provide youth with the supportive foundation to develop into responsible, engaged citizens tuned into their own growth and their important role in their communities.
