Now living in Austin along with her husband\, Jairaj\, who is also from Karnataka’s Tulu community\, she maintains ties to her cultural roots by imparting Tuluva knowledge and traditions to their two sons and incorporating elements of Tulu culture into her artwork and artistic practices. Sreedevi also teaches Tulu folk music and dance to youth in the Austin area through her community dance ensemble\, The Tulu Tribe.

Our meetups are a warm\, collegial\, and inviting space to exchange perspectives\, opinions\, and concerns about the current state and future of the arts\, AI\, and technology. \nMeetups are free and open to the public. All supplies included\, and you’ll get to take your masterpiece home with you!\n7p onwards: Enjoy live music during the evening portion of the event. Mingle\, sip and snack\, and enjoy the music\, as you stroll around to admire inspiring displays of original art.\n\n\nFun Photo Opps and Activities All Day Long!\n\nSmile and take a photo with “Joy\,” our life-size Texas Longhorn lovingly handpainted by local community members on a 12-foot backdrop with a hill country landscape scene.\nEnjoy arts activities and contribute to fun community arts projects\, including the Citywide Community Tile Mosaic\, a project we’ve been curating all summer long with contributions from community members across Austin.\nSpend some time at the Cards for Seniors table with other community members and work together to craft a few handmade cards for local seniors living in longterm care facilities.\n\n\n\nSupporting a Cause We Can All Get BehindAll proceeds will support the Joy for Seniors initiative by Artly World Nonprofit. This initiative brings joy to disabled seniors in Austin care facilities by using the arts as a platform for community engagement and human connection.
